Vann Studio was built around a simple idea: that a salon should feel like a place where artistry and conscience can live in the same room. We are a women-owned, award-winning studio in Belltown, and the work we do here is shaped by the team that does it.

Led by owner and artistic director Lisa Vann, our stylists are passionate about green beauty, expert technique, and the kind of personalized care that turns a haircut into a real experience. Every detail, from the products on our shelves to the consultation that opens every visit, is tailored to enhance who you already are.

What We Stand For

01 — Sustainable

Green beauty, not just green talk.

We're a certified Green Circle Salons partner. Up to 95% of what a salon throws away — hair, foils, color, paper, plastic — can be recycled or repurposed, and that's where our $8 per-visit recycling fee goes. It's not a marketing line. It's the program our work depends on.

02 — Women-Owned

A studio with a point of view.

Vann Studio is a women-owned business, and that shapes the room: who gets hired, how stylists are mentored, how clients are spoken to in the chair. Antonio holds a dedicated educator role on the team, because we believe craft only grows when it's taught forward.

03 — Considered

The products we choose, you can trust.

We work with Davines and Insight Professional — two premium European haircare lines built around clean formulations, ethical sourcing, and color performance. We don't carry product lines that don't earn their place on the shelf.

04 — Community

A salon rooted in Belltown.

We're a community partner of Peer Seattle, take part in Belltown ArtWalk, and treat the neighborhood as part of the work. The team that took inspiration from Intercoiffure New York this past fall brings that energy back to a chair that's a few steps from 1st Avenue.

Vann Studio takes on New York.

This past October, the Vann team traveled to New York for the Intercoiffure Fall Atelier — three days of inspiration, teamwork, and the kind of room-full-of-stylists energy that resets a creative practice. We came home with new ideas, sharper hands, and a few new ways of looking at the same heads of hair we love.

Every visit starts with your stylist sitting down with you, looking at your hair, and listening to what you actually want — not what we assume.

The work.

Cut, color, texture, makeup — done with Davines and Insight Professional products, by stylists who care more about your hair after the appointment than the photo of it.

Home care.

We send you out with the products you need, the styling tips you asked for, and the booking already in for the next time — no upsell, no pressure.
